Anjali, the sought-after actress in Tamil cinema with several hits under her belt, sustained an electric shock while shooting for Oor Suttri Puranam near Thiruporur today.
The Engeyum Eppodhum girl has made her mark in Tamil cinema doing roles that demands both performance and glamour.
Much recently her films including Kalakalappu and Engeyum Epodhum took her to greater heights.
Even in neighbouring Telugu cinema she managed to leave her mark SVSC acting alongside the likes of Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu.
Anjali is currently awaiting the release of her next venture Vathikuchi opposite Dhileepan. The movie is produced by A R Murugadoss and Fox Star Studios.
Anjali is currently playing the female lead to actor-director Kalanjiyam for the movie Oor Suttri Puranam. Sadly she tripped on a live wire in the sets of the movies this morning and was literally thrown back.
Immediately she was rushed to caravan and given first aid. She was later rushed to a nearby hospital and given treatment.
The shooting for the movie stands cancelled.
