Paradesi is a film which has Atharvaa, Vedhika and Dhansika in the cast. This film which is based on a novel speaks about the plight of the tea estate workers during the regime of British period.
This film has been directed by the award winning director Bala. This film which is to hit the screens on 15th March was awarded with a U certificate by the Censor Board. Bala while speaking about this certification mentioned, ” I have not faced any problems in getting a clear certificate from the Censor Board since none of my films have vulgarity.
As far as I am concerned the Censor Board is working with honesty and integrity. Some people have being passing comments that the Censor Board members are taking money and certifying the films. It looks so childish. Stern action should be taken against the people who pass such comments. While shooting for Paradesi in the forest regions the cast and crew donated our blood to leeches there. Only few actors can become famous as director’s actor. On that line, Atharvaa will be much spoken about after the release of Paradesi.”
