It’s not Tamil actor Vijay, who is fondly called as Ilayathalapathy and Naalaya Superstar, but this is someone from Karnataka. Yes, Sandalwood’s famous actor Vijay will now star in a film titled as Rajnikanth – The Superstar.
Soon after the news about this was spread, there were some buzzes that the film might be a biopic of Rajnikanth due to his nativity of early days was Begaluru. However, the makers have denied it to be a baseless rumour stating that the character name of Vijay in this film is Kanth while the heroine’s name is Rajini (played by actress Anita Rao).
