Actress Monica has mentioned there is less glamour in Tamil cinema when compared to Telugu cinema. Monica donned the role of a beautiful girl in the film Azhagi and in a titillating role in the film Silanthi.
She recently participated in the International Women’s Day function in Erode. After participating in this function she was speaking to the journalists. She said, “I am currently acting in two Malayalam and Tamil films respectively. I cannot accept that Tamil Nadu girls are not getting opportunity to act in Tamil films.
Lots of Tamil actresses have acted in Tamil films. Many are saying that there is lots of glamour in Tamil films but as far as Telugu film industry is concerned you can never see a Telugu film without glamour. Actresses who act in Telugu films also act in excessive glamour roles. Comparing to Telugu films there is less glamour in Tamil films. Most of the people want to make the actresses act in glamour roles.”
