Ace director Bharathiraja is directing a film titled Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum which has new face Lakshman and Karthika in the lead roles. The shooting of this film has been completed and the post production works like dubbing and re-recording is going on.
Initially Parthiban was supposed to don the lead role. Later on he was ousted and it was announced that Ameer will be the part of this film. The shooting of this film was commenced in Theni.
Ameer also was present at the spot sporting a big moustache. Bharathiraja removed Ameer also and gave this opportunity to a new comer called Lakshman. Now he has removed the Kodiveeranum from the title. It is understood that some of Bharathiraja’s friends have commented that the title is that of a comedy book. Hence Bharathiraja after giving lots of thoughts have trimmed the title. Henceforth this film will be called Annakodi.
