The latest information on Vijay’s upcoming film Thalaivaa, directed by director Vijay is that it would have twin heroines on board. Apart from Amala Paul, the pretty Ragini Nandwani, a very popular television host on Hindi television channels, has been roped in to play a significant role in the film.
As per the script, Vijay goes to Mumbai on duty and gets introduced to Ragini who is based in Mumbai. For this role, actresses Richa Gangopadhyay and Lakshmi Rai were in the reckoning. But Vijay wanted a fresh face for this role and surprisingly, he himself had spotted one. After watching Ragini on a television channel hosting programmes he reportedly recommended her to the director and the director seemed to have endorsed the actor’s opinion.
Ragini Nandwani is quite popular in the north, she has starred in several television serials besides the Hindi film Dehraadun Diary.
Ragini, quite efficient at her work, is said to be completing her sequences in just ‘one take’ and not putting the director and the crew to any sort of difficulty.
