Thirukumaran Entertainments which produced Atta Kathy and Pizza is now producing a sequel to Pizza titled Pizza 2- The Villa. Karthik Subburaj, a short film director had directed the first part of Pizza. The film which had Vijay Sethupathy and Ramya Nambeesan in the lead roles was supposed to be one of the best films of last year.
This film had bagged many awards. At this juncture, it has been decided to produce part 2 of this film. This film will have a new cast and crew including the director. Debutant short film director Deepan Chakravarthy will be directing this film. Vaibhav who had acted in Saroja and Mankatha will be donning the lead role.
Sancitha Shetty who had earlier acted in the film Kollaikaran is donning the female lead role in this film. The film has been titled Pizza 2- The Villa. Santhosh Narayanan who had composed music for the first part is also composing music for the second part. Selection for the other actors and actresses are going on. The shooting of this film will commence during the next month.
