Impressed with the response from the forest brigand’s tale titled Vana Yuddham, Vendhar Movies has set out on a buying spree. Reportedly, the have acquired the theatrical rights for Gauravam, Ethir Neechal. More over they have their banner production Thillu Mullu 2 in progress . In all probability the releases will happen during summer, in the months of March & April respectively. However, the release of the latter is not yet confirmed.
Gouravam which is a bilingual flick is penned and directed by Radha Mohan. It will mark Allu Sirish’s debut (brother of Telugu hunk Allu Arjun) alongside Yami Gautam. The flick will be released simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu and is being produced by Prakash Raj under his banner of Duet Movies.
Ethir Neechal which is directed by debutante Durai Senthilkumar, features Sivakarthikeyan, Priya Anand and Nandita in the lead roles. The movie is Dhanush’s maiden production under his banner, Wunderbar Films and has music by Anirudh Ravichander.
Apart from these two major releases, this banner also has the Tamil comic riot Thillu Mullu 2 under production directed by Badri featuring Shiva, Prakash Raj and Isha Talwar. The movie will is produced by S Madhan and will have Yuvan Shankar’s music.
